We are excited to bring to you our new collection of Gloria Petyarre paintings in Leaves which opens today and will be online through 5 April. Gloria Petyarre is currently ranked 7 on Australia's Indigenous Art Market and we are thrilled to be able to work with her.
The collection features nineteen unique artworks, each one hand painted by Gloria Petyarre representing Leaves, Gloria's most acclaimed subject.

The Anaty is the Alyawarr word for desert yam which is similar to a sweet potato and grows across Central Australia. Growing up to the size of a human head, this yam is an important food source for the Aboriginal people of Central Australia and is still favoured and collected today.

Olden day aboriginal people are hunting and gathering for bush food. They are pictured carrying traditional implements including boomerangs, coolamons (carved wooden bowls) and digging sticks. Traditionally these were made of hard wood such as mallee or mulga; the sticks heavy enough to club smaller animals and doubled as a prod for cooking on the fire.

Soakages brings together a new collection of Utopia artist Lena Pwerle's work, described as ‘unashamedly modern', in an emotionally charged exhibition of colour, movement and deep cultural rhythm.
The collection features eighteen unique artworks, each one hand painted by Lena Pwerle, a traditional elder in her 80's, depicting the Soakage dreaming.
